Ferretti
The history of the Italian shipyard Ferretti begins in 1968, when the Ferretti brothers set up their first marine division and began selling motor boats.
In 1971, the first wooden sailboat with a motorboat debuted at the boat show in Genoa, and in 1982 the first motor yacht of the brand appeared and the production of open sports boats with flybridge began. Participation in offshore races brings victories at the World and European Championships.
Since the 90s, much attention has been paid to scientific research, improving the design, exterior and construction technology. The Italian company buys shares of similar leading brands and expands its production. In 1998, the Ferretti Group was established, combining 8 shipyards in Italy and one in the United States.
The foundation of the concern remains the same name Ferretti Yachts, which continues to specialize in flybridge motor yachts.
The design is carried out by the research office of Ferretti Engineering, where 3D models of ships are created and tested. Mounted gyroscopes to stabilize pitching are the result of collaboration with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Design is being developed together with Zuccon studio.
The production of ships is established at three Italian shipyards: Marignano, Forlì and modern Cattolica. Ferretti Yachts launches three main yacht destinations: the classic model 15-29 meters long, the Custom Line with a flybridge from 30 meters long, and the Ferretti Navetta with an open upper deck.
All models are characterized by optimization of space, panoramic glazing and space for relaxation. The unique hull manufacturing technology provides strength and durability, and the design - stability on the go, lack of vibration in the cabins. Layouts of decks require a separate accommodation of the crew and guests, their individual design at the request of the owner.
Sales are 85 dealers in Europe, Asia and North America. Ferretti Yachts service centers resolve any issues related to the maintenance and operation of the sold yachts, and the warehouse network maintains a constant supply of spare parts. To improve the skills of captains and the professional training of service specialists, special courses and a service university are offered.
